Sometimes it is just as simple as an idea. You saw something while surfing the web, shopping at the store, or you were at a friend‘s party. Do you have an picture or can draw it? We can build it!
Okay so the idea is in your head. We have hammers and chisels to help get it out...Just kidding! Lets set up a time to visit and get the idea and what you imagine down on paper.
This is where we make sawdust and the metal sparks fly. We build your dreams and make them a reality. So send me a message so we can get started!
First step: We meet and discuss your idea. What do you want? What do you like? What do you not like?
Second step: I mock up an initial design and estimate.
Step three: You review both the design and the estimate. Send back the design for any changes or additions.
Step 4: Sign an agreement for scope of work, provide a deposit of either 50%of total cost or the materials. Estimated timeframe and delivery date provided. Subject to scope of work.
Step Five: Completion and delivery of project.
One of the Current Projects: Cutting 3/8th mild steel for a Airhorn.
When repairing furniture matching a stain or paint is very important. So is prepping for a finish.
In this video I am adding Poly to the top of my new custom saw bench.
Having the right tool to complete builds is very important. In this video I am adding T-track to my table saw work station. It is for clamping tools and work pieces to the table and it looks really cool!
That's the easy part. I have been a Maker all my life. It started way back, when my mom would find me taking my toys apart to see how they worked. She would yell at me like most moms would. ”Do not take your toys apart- put that back together” she would say. To her surprise they would work!
The Early Years
Like most Makers my age I was lucky enough to have a school that offered wood shop as an elective. I took 3 years of Wood Shop and Metal Shop in high school. With the last year of each being independent study. It was fun making things for the school. Boy did I make a lot of stuff, 700 A/C drip pans. They had free student labor!
Over the years I have built all kinds of stuff around my house and things for my friends. I have always been building and making.
